Capacity Units & Upgrades

When you order and activate your Cloud Hosted Website, you will be given the option to upgrade your resources in order to increase performance. You can upgrade your application pool memory, increase the number of capacity units, or both.

You will start with a single capacity unit upon creation of your website and will be able to add memory to your application pool at 50MB increments. If you would like to load balance your solution, you can increase the number of capacity units to spread out the traffic evenly across all your application instances.

Due to the redundant nature of our cloud infrastructure, all of our cloud solutions are safeguarded against hardware failure. This maximizes uptime and keeps your data protected against loss.
