Adding a DNS record in Hosted DNS

This article covers the steps required to Add a new DNS record to a domain using Server Intellect's Hosted DNS solution.

First, log into the Unity Customer Portal with your Customer ID and password.

Navigate to "My Services" and Click on "Hosted DNS".

If you have not yet added a domain, do so now by Clicking the "Click here to add a Domain Name to Hosted DNS" link.

Click on the Domain Name you wish to add a record to.

The DNS records are grouped by their type. Navigate to the type of record you wish to add and Click the link to add a new record to that section. This will display a new row to enter data into.

Enter the desired record name under the "Record" field.

Enter the desired value under the "Address" field.

Click the "Add" link to add the new record.

Please note that standard DNS Propagation time for changes to take effect is between 24 and 48 hours. Please allow this amount of time before contacting support regarding DNS changes.
