HOWTO: Change SMTP Outbound Port in MS Outlook

Open MS Outlook

Click 'Tools', then 'Email Accounts'

Click 'Next'

Highlight your account and click 'Change...'

Click 'More Settings...'

Select the 'Advanced' tab

Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port number to 587

Click OK to confirm the change
