Changing Default Site Location (Physical Path) in HELM3

This article will walk you through how to change where HELM creates the default site folders when adding new sites into HELM.

Log into HELM as "Admin"

Click on the "System Settings" icon.

Click on the "Servers" icon.

Click on the Server Name.

Click on "Default Web Service"

Change the "Physical Root Path" from "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot" to your desired custom location. Click the "Save" button at the bottom.

Your newly created sites will now have their Home Directories created in your custom location.
