How to add user accounts in HELM 3 Control Panel

How to add user accounts to the Helm 3 Control Panel on VPS and Dedicated Server accounts

This a basic guide on how to create user level accounts on your VPS or Dedicated Server.

These will be non-priveledged accounts that can only access the domain names added to them.

The first step is to login to your VPS or Dedicated Server's Helm control panel as "admin".

Next, click on the resellers link on the left hand side of the screen.

Then click on the Reseller name. Each VPS reseller comes with a default reseller account added by Server Intellect. This account has virutally no limitations and we will be using it in this example.

Once you have clicked on the reseller name, you need to click on the Users icon to access that Reseller's users.

Next, click the Add New button to add a new account under this reseller.

Next fill in the user's personal information for this account. The "LOGINNAME" will be the control panel login name for the account. Once the form is complete click the save button and it will create the account and email the user their login information to the email address listed in the information.

Now you need to add a hosting package to the account so it has access to the resources it needs. You should be returned to the user list after adding the account. Select the login name from the list and click on it.

Now select the Packages icon from the list to add a new package to the account.

Once again we add a default Hosting package to each server that has virtually no limitations in terms of amount of database, domain names, email accounts etc. If you wanted to limit this you would need to create a new hosting plan. For this example simply select the "Main hosting plan" and give it a name and click the "Save" button.

Now this user should be active and have a plan attached to their account. They can login in at any time and begin adding domain names to their account.
