A Domain Alias is basically an extra domain name that points to your primary domain. For example, if ‘sampledomain.com’ was your primary domain and you added ‘sub1.sampledomain.com’ as a Domain Alias, when someone types ‘sub1.sampledomain.com’ in their browser, the actual site that would load would be from ‘sampledomain.com’. This is easily accomplished with version 3 of the Helm Control Panel
Log into your HELM control panel.

Click on the Domains icon.

Click on the Domain for which you wish to set the Domain Alias. For the purposes of this article, we will use 'example.com'.

Click on the Domain Aliases icon.

As you can see, this domain currently does not have any aliases established. Click Add New to create a new one.

Enter in the name of the Subdomain Alias for the primary domain. In this case, we will use 'sub1.example.com'. After you have entered the name, click Save.

You have now successfully added a Subdomain Alias.
