Your dedicated/VPS server is equipped with the SmarterMail mail server. This mail server has full support for spam filtering and it is enabled by default.
However, there are specific steps we can take to optimize the Anti-Spam configuration in SmarterMail mail server which will be explained in detail below.
First, you will have to log into SmarterMail as administrator:

Click Security, then Antispam Administration
Click Add RBL, and input the following:
Name: SpamHAUS
Weight: 10
IP Address: sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
Click Save
Under the column Enable for Filtering, place a check mark by the following Spam Check categories:
SpamAssassin
Bayesian Filtering
DomainKeys
SPF
Reverse DNS
RBL: SpamCop
RBL: SpamHAUS
Under the column Enable for Incoming SMTP Blocking, place a check mark by the following Spam Check categories:
RBL: SpamCop
RBL: SpamHAUS
Now click Save

Now, we are going to properly configure Greylisting in SmarterMail. Click on Security, then Greylisting
Place a check mark by the following fields:
Enable Greylisting
Enable Users to override Greylisting
Enable Greylisting for SmartHosts

By following the steps above, SmarterMail will now efficiently reduce Spam on your mail server.
