Changing the Domain Size Limit in SmarterMail

This article describes how to edit the disk space limit for domains in SmarterMail

When a domain is created in SmarterMail, it will be set with a Domain Size Limit, which is the amount of space in megabytes any domain is allowed to keep on the server. Once the limit is reached, no emails will be able to be received by the domain.

This can be easily alleviated by increasing the allowed size for any domain in SmarterMail.

First, log into SmarterMail as 'admin'.

Once logged in, right-click on the domain you wish to change this setting for, and click Edit.

Inside the Edit window, click the link which says, Limits.

From the Limits page, you can set the domain size in megabytes. To allow the domain unlimited space on the server, enter 0 in the field. Once your desired setting is entered, click Save at the top of the window.

As you can see, you can alter many other settings within the Limits window, including allowed amount of email users, aliases, mailing lists, recipients per message, and maximum message size.
