How to Activate SmarterStats Version 4

This article will guide you through the steps necessary to Activate the License for SmarterStats Version 4. The software is initially installed using the Free version, which is a limited version.

You should receive an initial email from Smartertools when you signed up that contains your specific License Key. If you did not receive your login information from SmarterTools, you can use this link to have your password re-sent to you.

Disregard the instructions in the email regarding the download and installation of the program itself, for it is already installed on your server. Note the License Keys for each product.

Log into SmarterStats as "Admin"

Click on the "Settings" icon at the top left.

Click on the "Product Activation" link in the left window pane.

Click on the "Activate a License Key" icon at the top.

Copy and Paste the License Key from SmarterTools.com into the "License Key" field and Click the "Next" arrow icon at the top.

Enter the Email Address and Password used to log into SmarterTools.com and Click the "Activate Now" icon at the top.

You should now receive a confirmation message stating that the product is now activated!

You can verify what version has been activated by looking in the top right-hand side of the window.
