Click the "Download" button and save the file to your server's Desktop.

Open the "SharePoint.exe" file to start the installation wizard.

Check the box "I accept the terms of this agreement" and Click the Continue button.

Click the "Basic" button

The installer will now install SharePoint onto the server.

Once the installation is complete,  Click the "Close" button.

This will open the Configuration Wizard for SharePoint. Click the "Next" button.

Installing SharePoint may require IIS to be reset. If you do not wish to disrupt services to your websites at this time, you may want to reschedule the installation for overnight.

Click "Yes" to proceed.

The configuration wizard will now perform various initial configuration tasks.

Once it is complete, Click the "Finish" button to close the wizard and navigate to the default SharePoint Web Application homepage.

You will be prompted for a username and password to access the site. At that prompt, enter the credentials that you used to logon to the server. Add this site to the list of trusted sites when prompted.

You can now click on the "Site Actions" link at the top right to Edit the Site Settings and Create new Sites.
