If you face the issue of the Helm Control Panel being unable to communicate with SmarterMail, you may need to make sure Helm is updated with the correct Administrator password for SmarterMail.
Log into your Helm Control Panel as ‘admin’.
Click on System Settings.
Click on the name of your Smarterstats server in the list. There is typically only one server in the list.
Now click on your SmarterStats service in the list which is usually named ‘Default SmarterMail Service’.
Type your SmarterMail administrator password in the Admin Password field and click the Save button at the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
