First, log in to Plesk as ‘useradmin‘ and then select the domain you wish to associate the database with.
Click the ‘Database‘ icon, and then click the ‘Add New Database‘ icon.
Set the database name and database type, which is Microsoft SQL Server by default. If MySQL is installed on the server and integrated into Plesk, this will also be an option.
The IP should already be locked to the private IP of the server and port 2433, click ‘OK‘.
Next, click ‘Add New Database User’, and type in the database user name you want. Then, type in and confirm a secure password using upper and lower case passwords, and numbers. (15 character maximum), and click ‘OK‘.
This will complete the addition of the database and user credentials, and you should now be able to connect to it via Managment Studio or connection string.
