To set up the Auto-Responder, simple log into your Smartermail account. Once logged in, simple click on ‘Settings‘ on the left hand menu and then click on ‘Auto-Responder‘. Check ‘Enable auto-responder‘ and then click on ‘Auto-responder Message‘.
Put in the subject for you return email, such as ‘Vacation‘ or ‘Out of the Office‘. In the message box, type in whatever information you would like included in your responder email, such as emergency contact numbers and date of return. Click on ‘Save‘ and you are ready to go.
To disable this, simple go back to the ‘Auto-responder‘ menu and uncheck ‘Enable auto-responder‘ and click ‘Save‘.
